Hollow 67 — Privacy Policy

Hollow 67 is a paranormal investigation app by HeffandJughead. This policy explains what information the app handles. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data. Everything the app does happens on your device.
1. No Data Collection
Hollow 67 does not collect, track, or transmit any personal information. The app contains:
No analytics or tracking software
No advertising networks
No third-party SDKs
No accounts or sign-ups
No servers that receive your data
Scans, photo forensics, entity detection, EVP audio analysis, and field reports are performed on your device using Apple's on-device technologies, including Apple Intelligence on supported devices.
2. Permissions the App Uses
The app requests access to the following device features, used only while you are actively using the app:
Camera — to display the live scan view, detect movement and people in frame, and capture evidence photos.
Microphone — to record EVP sessions, transcribe Spirit Dictation, and listen for the "Hey Hollow" voice command.
Motion & Sensors — to read the magnetometer, barometer, and motion sensors during a scan.
Speech Recognition — to process voice commands and transcribe Spirit Dictation recordings. This runs on-device where supported; on older devices, Apple may process audio under Apple's own privacy policy. We never receive your audio or transcripts.
Photos — to save evidence photos and marked-up analysis images when you ask the app to. The app reads a photo from your library only when you choose one yourself for analysis.
Camera images, microphone audio, and sensor readings are processed in real time on your device and are never sent to us. Audio recordings, photos, and scan results are saved only to your device's local storage and remain under your control. You can delete them from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes them.
3. Purchases
Hollow 67 offers optional subscriptions and a one-time purchase, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Purchase history is managed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
4. Children
Hollow 67 is an entertainment app intended for a general audience. The app collects no data from any user of any age.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version with an updated effective date. Because we collect no data, material changes are unlikely.
